After leaving in school at the end of year 12 I worked on the TT Line – Spirit of Tasmania III (ferry service between Tasmania and Sydney) as a steward and storeman for 3 years which was good fun. I liked working at sea so when I got the opportunity to retrain as an IR I took it. I went to the Australian Maritime College (AMC) for 3 months before joining P&O in January. I really enjoy working for P&O because I get to see parts of the world that not many other people get to see, for example I have already been to Papua New Guinea and now Antarctica.

When I’m not working I like travelling, I’ve been to quite a few different countries including Thailand. I am also a keen snowboarder, and spent the ’05 season as a lift operator at Falls Creek. I also play basketball and Australian Rules football and am a big fan of Essendon – Go the Bombers!
